NAUxObjet는 건축적 사고가 오브제로 응축되는 플랫폼이다.
형태는 빛과 물성이 교차하는 지점에서 태어나고, 그 긴장 속에서 정의된다.
곡면을 스치는 빛은 부드럽게 흐르고,
사선의 언어 위에 드리운 그림자는 깊이를 더한다.
오브제는 완결된 물체가 아니다.

The Density of Light
NAUxObjet가 처음 선보이는 GLOAM Collection. ‘Gloam’은 황혼을 의미한다. 빛이 사라지는 시간이 아니라, 빛의 농도가 드러나는 순간이다.
GLOAM은 NAUxObjet와 NAUxLab 총괄파트너 이석 교수와 목공예 분야 전국대회에서 다수의 수상 경력을 쌓아온 공예가 김재성 대표가 함께한 첫 협업이다. 나무의 물성과 빛에 대한 깊은 이해를 바탕으로 원목 가구의 새로운 가능성을 제안한다. 나무 본연의 결은 건축적 설계를 통해 빛과 그림자로 확장되며, 낮에는 빛과 함께 변화하는 장면으로, 밤에는 깊어지는 음영으로 공간의 감성을 절제된 방식으로 변주한다.
The inaugural GLOAM Collection by NAUxObjet takes its name from “gloam,” meaning twilight: not the disappearance of light, but the moment when its density becomes perceptible.
GLOAM marks the first collaboration between Suk Lee, Founding Director of NAUxObjet and NAUxLab, and Jaesung Kim, an artisan with multiple awards from national woodworking competitions. Bringing together architectural thinking and the sensibility of craftsmanship, GLOAM explores new possibilities for solid wood furniture through a deep understanding of wood, light, and materiality.

GLOAM에서의 소재 선정은 단순히 색상의 차이를 고려하는 것이 아니다. 핵심은 빛에 대한 광학적 반응이다. 각 목재 옵션은 빛을 흡수, 확산, 압축, 혹은 반전시키는 등 빛과 상호작용하는 서로 다른 방식을 보여준다.
Material selection in GLOAM is not about color variation. It is about optical response. Each wood option represents a different way of negotiating with light: absorbing, diffusing, compressing, or reversing it.

지름 1cm Stainless Steel Pipe 4개가 모여 이룬 네잎클로버 형태의 구조체이며, Bending과 Merging 기법으로 구조적 안전성을 강화시키는 NAUxObjet만의 유기적인 구조 시스템을 제안한다.
